Eng. S. TAHA,
is the director of the NWMP Directorate at MWI. She is an
irrigation Engineer with more than 20 years of progressive
responsibilities in the water sector. She managed large
projects in water, irrigation, and treated effluent reuse
planning, and management and has experience in monitoring
and assessment of water management situation, and formulation
and testing of management scenarios and strategies.
Ms. Taha has participated in the development of MWI water
information systems and the conceptual development of
the digital planning tools presently in use at the Ministry
of water and irrigation. In addition she has the experience
of passing on her knowledge to the two sister organizations
within MWI, namely the Water Authority of Jordan and the
Jordan Valley Authority (JVA). Ms. Taha has MSc. in Irrigation
Engineering from Southampton University UK and is an author
and co-author of several papers presented to international
conferences on water. She will lead WP6, assisted by 2
engineers and a subcontract with one of the lead firms
in Jordan specialised in environmental studies and water
resources management.
Eng. L. NABER and R. SHARQAWI are soil and water engineers who have been
engaged in the development of the digital planning tools
in the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and testing their
functionality.
